But if you don't have the time, or the inclination to make your own Mobipocket books then you can download the mobibooks I have created already. These books are available for free from other sources in various formats, I made them for myself for free using the free tools above and the freely available texts. The miniscule fees I charge are only to cover the time and expense I incur by making them available to you. I did consider making this site volunteer donations for my time, but I still have to pay for the hosting etc and cannot guarantee I'd get enough donations to cover my expenses. I decided a set fee per download was fairer for all involved. I hope you agree!
Also as part of this service I am willing to create the books you require. I will of course be constantly creating and adding new books to the site. But if you would like a specific book (the book must be out of copyright!) then please use my contact form to request any and all books you would like, and I will make sure they are created and added for you as soon as possible! There won't be any other fees incurred other than the regular download fee which is 99c per ebook and $2.99 per collection of books!

I have just finished this book, An Illustrious Lord by Helen Dickson, and although it was an easy read and there was nothing particularly wrong with it, I felt all the way through that it was just a pale Pride And Prejudice imitation. The same themes run consistantly through the storyline. A headstrong and witty second sister, daughter of a gentlemen but lacking in the family connections to be considered a good match for an aristocratic family of immense wealth. An interference in an attachment between close relations. A sister fallen from grace who seems to drive the hero and heroine apart but indeed brings them closer together, and many other instances of similar plot lines that just left me slightly dissapointed in the whole tale.
I know there are only so many stories to be told, and the rest are just variations on a theme, but it is my opinion that there was not enough variation on this particular theme and it really was as if I was reading just a second hand copy of my beloved Pride And Prejudice, and it did not stand up to the mark against the original in any way. But if you are a fan of the light historical novel and Austen is too classical for your tastes you may enjoy An Illustrious Lord by Helen Dickson.

I've been in one of those phases recently. Daniel Deronda is still sat on my PDA half read while I've been indulging my illicit liking for trashy romances of the Harlequin variety. Now of course Harlequin romances aren't out of copyright and in the public domain, so I'm not about to break the law and supply you with Harlequin Romance Mobibooks. But I can tell you where I get mine from. Mobipocket of course! They have a whole Harlequin eBooks section which brings you all the latest Harlequin Romances each month in Mobibook format! So if your secret sin is to indulge in a little trashy romance reading you too can download some Harlequin eBooks to you Mobipocket Reader!
I am going to go back to classics now. I'll finish Danial Deronda and then will update the mobibooks.net with some new additions as soon as possible!

Deronda saves a young Jewish singer Mirah Lapidoth from suicide and befriends her, lodging her with the family of his friend, and aids her in searching for her family. This search introduces Daniel to the Jewish community of London. Deronda's friend proposes marriage to the virtuous Mirah, an offer she rejects despite the advantages it offers. This shows Deronda a sharp contrast between the two women in his life, Gwendolen, and Mirah. After the death of her husband Gwendolen hopes for Deronda to claim her again. But who will he choose, and what is the secret of his birth, where does he come from?
