Synopsis:

Miss Anne Elliot is preparing to let Kellynch the house of her father, a Baronet living beyond his means, who is to go to Bath with her elder sister. She learns the house is to be let to an Admiral and his wife, who just happens to be the sister of one Captain Wentworth, the man Anne had promised to marry many years earlier and was persuaded by her friends and family to break off the engagement.

Anne has never loved any but Captain Wentworth, and feels much differently now, she would never allow herself to be persuaded against him as she had in the past. When Captain Wentworth arrives in the neighbourhood he makes it abundantly clear that he is as unforgiving of the past as ever he was. Anne must suffer the heartbreak of seeing the man she loves attaching himself to her sister-in-law, or is he?
